CSX Names Angela C. Williams Vice President and Corporate Controller

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., March 19, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CSX Corporation (NASDAQ:CSX) today announced the appointment of Angela (“Angie”) C. Williams as vice president and controller as successor to Andrew (“Drew”) L. Glassman, who has provided notice that he will be leaving the Company to pursue other opportunities.  Glassman has agreed to stay on through June 30, 2018, to assist with the transition.

CSX Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Frank Lonegro said: “I am pleased to announce the appointment of Angie Williams to the position of vice president and controller. Angie’s depth of knowledge of our business and her strong accounting acumen will be invaluable as we continue to build momentum behind our strategy to become the best run railroad in North America.”

Prior to her new role, Williams served as CSX’s assistant controller. She joined CSX in 2003 and has served in various positions in the accounting organization. Prior to CSX, she was employed by KPMG LLP’s audit practice after holding various accounting and internal audit positions at Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. Williams is a certified public accountant and a graduate of Florida State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
