David Barnes Joins Sterling National Bank’s Residential Mortgage Warehouse Lending Team

Will support servicing and growth of warehouse lending portfolio

MONTEBELLO, N.Y., Oct. 30, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sterling National Bank (NYSE:STL) today announced that David Barnes has joined the bank as Vice President and Managing Director of Residential Mortgage Warehouse Lending. Barnes will report to Patricia Robins, SVP and Senior Managing Director, Residential Mortgage Warehouse Lending.

Barnes will be based in the San Francisco Bay area and will be responsible for expanding Sterling National Bank’s warehouse lending business to independent mortgage companies in the Western United States. Barnes was most recently a relationship manager at First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation, where he generated residential mortgage warehouse lines and managed client relationships. Barnes formerly worked at other leading organizations across the financial services sector including Gateway Bank, Wachovia, and Community One Financial.
