PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — With Rhode Island students off from school this week, it’s prime time to get out and make the most of these spring celebrations.

Right here in Providence, there are plenty of activities to keep the entire family entertained.

At Roger Williams Park Zoo, the dinosaurs have returned!

You can meet the creatures of prehistoric times up close in the animatronic exhibit happening all this week.

If you can’t make it, they’re sticking around for the summer.

At the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center, Fairy Garden Days are back through April 27.

This year’s theme? Mushroom magic.

There’ll be fairy spotting, wand making mermaid catching and more.

If you’re planning a trip to Roger Williams, Food Truck Friday is back for its 11th season at the park.

Catch it on April 18th from 5 p.m. until dark.

Admission is free, with over 15 local food trucks and live music from Beth Killian to set the vibe.

Plus, the Providence Children’s Museum is hosting a Rainforest Reptile Show, a wild time for the whole family.

That’s happening tomorrow at 2 p.m., and the event is free with admission to the museum.

The Wicked Tulip Flower Farm in Exeter is officially back open today for the spring season.

Tip toe through the tulips with the entire family or look out for events happening at the farm.

Buying tickets in advance is recommended.

If you have errands to run, check out the Create Color Art Studio in Narragansett where kids ages seven and up can be dropped off and have a creative day of fun.

It’s $30 a day or $125 for the week and a pizza lunch is included.

So whether you’re into sweet treats, magical gardens or scaly friends there’s something for everyone this spring break.
