Martin’s Mill’s Nixon leads Aggies to 9th-place finish

FORT WORTH, Texas (KLTV) - Former Martin’s Mill Lady Mustang Mia Nixon finished tied for 19th place to lead the Aggies to a ninth-place finish at the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate at the Colonial Country Club on Tuesday.
The junior led a team of five Aggies.
Nixon shot one-under-par (69) in the first round. In the second round, Nixon carded a 73 and in the final round a 72 to finish at 214 strokes, four-over-par. She tied for 19th with her teammate, Cayetana Fernandez Garcia-Poggio.
Texas A&M will host their next tournament on April 7-8 at Traditions Club in Bryan.
