BISHKEK, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan issued a silver collector's coin "Five years of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)" on Tuesday, said the press service of the country's National Bank.

The collector's coin, dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the formation of the EAEU, was issued as part of the international monetary program of the central banks of the EAEU member states.

Coins are issued in a circulation of 1,000 pieces with each costing about 43 U.S. dollars.

Each silver coin is placed in an acrylic capsule and packed in a separate case with a quality certificate. The collector's coin has the status of an official means of payment in Kyrgyzstan.

The EAEU, whose member states are Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia, was formed in May 2014 and aims for the free movement of goods, capital, services and people within the union.
