Recording artiste I-Octane is broadening his horizons by adding the role of producer to his rEsumE, with the release of the 'Vegas Mode' rhythm.

Released on December 1, the rhythm contains eight tracks, and features artistes such as Bounty Killer, Agent Sasco, Ding Dong, Bingi Banks, Shane O, Fully Bad, and Esco. This marks the first official project from I-Octane's record label, Conquer The Globe Records, and is available for purchase on various digital platforms via Zojak World Wide.

"The inspiration stems from a personal perspective, where I am coming from in terms of an artiste. My aim is to create a platform for myself and others," he explained.

Great things are expected from this production, and plans are coming together for a medley video to be made for the rhythm. However, Ding Dong will be filming a separate video, using a different concept.

The Vegas Mode rhythm offers a crossover flavour with a dancehall and Caribbean vibe, which I-Octane said can be played anywhere, in every arena across the globe. And the singjay is expecting great things from this project.

"Everybody's forming their own camp, which nothing is wrong with, but sometimes it can work against the artiste. I work with everybody. To prevent the future problem, I just create this platform for myself and others."

I-Octane also has big plans as we head into 2018. His new album is currently in the works, and will be an independent project based on love and life. There is also a new project in the pipeline, starting with a song with Yanique and Tony Kelly.
